Child passenger safety education (car seats) has been a priority of DSCS since it's inception. Partnering with alliance members, DSCS participates in an average of 15 free community-wide safety seat checks yearly. In an example of an ?average? year, nearly 700 safety seats/booster seats are checked. Of those, approximately 93% are installed incorrectly.
